Case Study House # 28, Agoura Hills 1963
BUFF & HENSMAN designed this unique house in Agoura Hills, CA, as the 28th house in the Case Study Program for John Entenza and Arts and Architecture Magazine.
The project was in collaboration with the Janss Development Corporation and Pacific Clay Products.
The architects were asked to feature brick as a structural and aesthetic material. As a result, there was more brick used than would have been, if the architects were left on their own.
The house features two glass gallerias surrounding an interior pool court.
